Computer Controlled Flights – No Direct Flights – Wasting Fuel – Crazy 90 Degree Turns!
For those familiar with ‘2001: Space Odyssey’ know that HAL the computer took over – HAL is one letter off from IBM! See video below
The computer – NextGen – is directing flights that make no sense. As an aircraft operator on an IFR flight plan, I would be unhappy with the increased 30% more fuel consumption – diverted due to weather, I would understand, but this is NOT THE CASE. Conclusion – commercial flights are paid for the misguided – imprudent – fuel consuming flights.

More lies – The Next Generation Air Transportation System NextGen boasts: “Cuts Down on Noise and Air Pollution. Flying is becoming quieter, cleaner, and more fuel-efficient. Having a more direct path from point A to point B reduces overall flight time –The movement to the next generation of aviation is being enabled by a shift to smarter, satellite-based and digital technologies and new procedures that combine to make air travel more convenient, predictable, and environmentally friendly”. Not the case as we all know, see evidence below. See link
Documentation of flight paths, by Planefinder (https://planefinder.net) and my a photographic evidence. Delta DL4521 and DL4521 not flying direct routes and flying over my area with chemtrial – aviation pollution and making 90 degree turns!! The pilots must have thought WTF? Also notice the ‘oil slick’ rainbow and trails turning off and on in pix below.
One of the best confrontation scenes between Hal and Dave from Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 film: ‘2001: A Space Odyssey.
Government Propaganda – The Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen)
“Cuts Down on Noise and Air Pollution. Flying is becoming quieter, cleaner, and more fuel-efficient. Having a more direct path from point A to point B reduces overall flight time. The FAA has partnered with the aviation industry to introduce more efficient operating procedures that provide increased flexibility and predictability, even in adverse weather conditions. U.S carriers and others around the world are renewing their fleets with more advanced, fuel-efficient and quieter aircraft to take advantage of Performance Based Navigation procedures, save on fuel, and minimize noise and aircraft exhaust emissions. The airspace at many U.S. metroplexes (metropolitan areas, which include multiple airports) has been redesigned to streamline arrivals and departures, capitalizing on advanced aircraft and modern procedures to provide greater environmental sustainability and a better way to fly”. – See more at: https://www.transportation.gov/mission/sustainability/next-generation-air-transportation-system-nextgen#sthash.xpKpjc6q.dpuf
Most recent flight, wasting fuel
